Martha Pauline Ernstmeyer

Martha Pauline Ernstmeyer, age 88 of Warrensburg, Missouri, formerly of Corder, Missouri died on Friday, June 3, 2011, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, Missouri. Born Sunday, October 29, 1922 in Lexington, Missouri, she was the daughter of Paul Isiah Willard and Nellie Raynes Willard. She married Henry Shobe Ernstmeyer December 16, 1942. She worked as a seamstress at the Higginsville Garment Factory, retiring in 1984. She lived in Corder, Missouri most of her life, moving to Warrensburg in 2010. Martha was a member of Corder United Methodist Church, sang in the church choir and volunteered in the Parents As Teachers Program. She and Henry wintered in Florida for many years where she combed the beach collecting sea shells. She enjoyed a variety of crafts and crocheted numerous afghans & created beadwork paintings. Preceded in death are her parents, one son, August Isiah Ernstmeyer, one daughter, Paulette Dieckhoff, two brothers, Paul Willard, Jr., J D Willard, and three sisters, Catherine Thompson, Leona Liston and June Kegley. Surviving are her husband, Henry S. Ernstmeyer of the home; two daughters, Rebecca (Duane) Limback of Warrensburg, Wilma (Charles) Catlin of Springfield, Missouri; son-in-law, Don Dieckhoff of Flippin, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Derek Limback, Lisa Lockard, Sarah Catlin-Dupuy, Michael Dieckhoff, David Dieckhoff, & Adam Dieckhoff; nine great-grandchildren, Tyler Limback, Allison Limback, Braedon Dieckhoff, Caleb Dieckhoff, Royce Dieckhoff, Dante Dupuy, Victor Dupuy, Laura Lockard, and Luke Lockard. A Funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the Corder United Methodist Church located at 316 N. Main St. Corder, Missouri 64021 with the Pastor Nick Kindred officiating,Charlene Short as organist, & Derek Limback as Trumpeter. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery located in Corder. The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday at the Church. The Family suggests Memorials to the Corder United Methodist Church or Corder V.F.W. Casketbearers are Michael Dieckhoff, David Dieckhoff, Adam Dieckhoff, Derek Limback, Chris Good, and Doug Lorenz. Honorary pallbearers are Rodney Lorenz, Greg Lorenz, Don Lilleman, and Bob Pritchard.
