Bernadine E. Kelly Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Bernadine E. Kelly, 61 of Higginsville, Missouri died on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. Born Thursday, August 13, 1953 in Higginsville, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late John Kelly and the late Bernice Louise (Corson) Kelly. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Gary and Tom Kelly and one sister Mathalda Kelly. Bernadine was employed by GE Transportation Plant in Warrensburg, Missouri and also worked for Ace Radio Control in Higginsville. She was a life long resident of Higginsville, a 1972 graduate of Lafayette Co. C-1 High School and attended college one year. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and former member of the Higginsville Horse Lover's Club. She enjoyed photography, reading and researching genealogy. Bernadine was also an avid Royals fan. Surviving are one sister, Marcella Vaughn of Kansas City, Missouri; five nieces, three nephews, six great nieces, one great nephew and one great-great niece. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 401 W. Broadway, Higginsville with Father Father Ken Kelly as celebrant, and Virginia Graham as organist. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the church with Rosary at 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Memorials are to St. Mary's Catholic Church or Donor's Choice. Honorary pallbearers are nieces and nephews-James Vaughn, John Vaughn, Kelly Hellums, Lisa Kelly Soendker, Lori Kelly, Dana Kelly, Krissy Kelly and Jon Kelly.
