Brice Story Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Brice Tillman Story, Jr., 64 of Higginsville, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at his Home. He was born Tuesday, January 29, 1957 in Concord, North Carolina and he was the son of the late Brice Story Sr. and the late Evelyn (Hallman) Story. Brice left school at a young age and joined the carnival as a ride operator. He spent most of his life traveling all over California and Louisiana with the carnival. A lot of his family worked for the carnival as well. As he got older and had children, his two sons worked with the carnival as a family. He repaired machines and drove trucks for the carnival too. Brice made an appearance in the 1985 movie 'Mask' with Cher during a carnival scene. He retired from the Carnival in 1994 and came back to Missouri. Brice was a simple man who just enjoyed spending time with his family when he wasn't on the road with the carnival. He will be greatly missed by all who came to know him. Surviving are two sons, Brice (Mary) Story of Higginsville and Lloyd (Jennifer) Story of Raymore, MO; one daughter, Virginia Story of Wichita, KS; three brothers, Melvin Story, Ralph Story and Paul Story; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Margaret Story; two brothers, Roger Story and Randy Story; one sister, Lugina Story. The family will hold a private Celebration of Life this spring.
