Connie Sue Goring Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Connie Sue Goring (Gaddy), 69 of Warrensburg, Missouri (formerly of Higginsville) passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at her home. Connie was born on June 3, 1953 in Marshall, Missouri. She graduated from Marshall High School. Connie married her husband, Ronnie on December 7, 1974. Ronnie and Connie made their family home in Higginsville, MO and had two children. After retirement they moved to Warrensburg to be closer to their grandchildren. Connie was saved into the family of God on October 12, 1973. Connie sang in the church choir and taught Sunday school for many years at Faith Baptist Church in Higginsville and Bethel Baptist Church after she moved to Warrensburg. Connie had an in-home daycare for 23 years. She treated her “kids” as her own with joy and affection. Connie loved her family and spending time with them. She especially loved Sundays spent at her Mom’s home in Marshall with sisters, brothers, her two children and nieces and nephews. Later she loved spending time with her two grandchildren whom she was incredibly proud of. Connie also enjoyed watching the Kansas City Royals and was a faithful fan. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie of the home; son, Jason (Faye) of Odessa, MO; daughter, Jennifer Beavers of Harrisonville, MO; two grandchildren, Kyron and Maya Beavers of Harrisonville; four brothers, Harry Gaddy of Marshall, Kenneth Gaddy of Helena, Montana, Donnie Gaddy of Marshall, Gary (Naomi) Gaddy of Tightwad, MO; three sisters, Ada Nowlin of Grain Valley, Penny Nelson of Warrensburg, and Karen Simpson of Jefferson City, MO. Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Gaddy; father, Joseph Gaddy; sister, Wanda Gaddy; brother, Danny Gaddy; and two nephews, Derek Gaddy and Chad Simpson. The family will receive friends from 2PM-3PM on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Stewart-Hoefer Funeral Home located at 1600 Main St. in Higginsville. A funeral service will follow at 3PM on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Stewart-Hoefer Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Higginsville City Cemetery. Casket Bearers: Rusty Bellamy, Rick Goring, Kyron Beavers, Dave Johnson, Spencer Johnson, Carl Shipman. Memorials may be made out to Crossroads Hospice.
