David Kumm Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

David Alan Kumm, 41 of Concordia, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. He was born Thursday, October 23, 1980 on a naval base in Yokosuka, Japan, to Dennis Kumm and the late Dionisia "Judy" Kumm. David graduated in 1998 from Lafayette Co. C-1 in Higginsville, MO. David had a kind heart and seemed to never meet a stranger. He could start a conversation with anyone and brighten any room with his positive spirit. He was a loyal friend with a joyful personality and was liked by everyone. David was a jokester and knew how to hold a room’s attention with a few pranks and plenty of laughs. David was proud of his Filipino/American heritage and displayed it proudly with his tattoos. He loved his family and adored his children. David left us too soon and will be greatly missed. Surviving are his father, Dennis of Higginsville; two sons, Jasper Kumm of Higginsville, and Carson Smith of Higginsville. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dionisia "Judy" Kumm. A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Stewart-Hoefer Funeral Home 1600 Main St. Higginsville, Missouri. He will be cremated after the visitation.
