Heath Moore

Heath Bradley Moore, 31 of Columbia, Missouri died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 10, 2022, in Columbia. He was born Sunday, December 30, 1990 in Independence, Missouri, to the late Tim Moore and Priscilla (Golladay) Moore of Higginsville, Missouri. Heath graduated from Lafayette County C-1 High School - class of 2009. He married Vinca Thornton on May 30, 2020. He worked for Walmart for many years, which led to him accepting a position with TA Truck Service. Heath was swiftly promoted to General Manager for the Kingdom City, Missouri TA Truck Service location and he and Vinca made the move to Columbia. Heath was an outdoorsman and loved fishing and camping. He was an avid disc golfer and was known to golf several times a week, even in the snow. He was in the beginning phases of starting a custom disc painting and dying business. He was an animal lover and enjoyed the companionship of his four cats: Han Solo, Baby Cakes, Appa and Chai. Heath had a huge interest in technology, electronics, computers and especially video games. He had a passion for painting, cooking and reading. Heath enjoyed tending to the hot pepper plants he planted in his first garden with Vinca last year. He loved being with his wife and participating in activities that she enjoyed. Heath grew up in a large family with four other siblings; family was important to him. He loved spending time with family and attending family gatherings. Heath left this world unexpectedly and definitely too soon, but he will be dearly missed by all his family and friends that loved him so much. Surviving are his wife, Vinca of Columbia; his mother, Priscilla Moore of Higginsville; three sisters, Amy (Ryan) Cordova of Platte City, MO, Tricia (Jody) Grasher of Hamilton, MO and Jenny (Michael) Wahn of Higginsville; one brother, Lucas (Marjorie) Moore of Higginsville; nieces and nephews, Andrew (Micaela) Cordova, Cody Grasher, Dylan Wahn, Kenzie “Jasper” Wahn, Ethan Grasher, Keegan Cordova, Jayden Wahn, Katie Cordova, Jacob Grasher, Aaron Cordova; great niece and nephew, Grayson and Adelyn Cordova. He was preceded in death by his father, C. Tim Moore. A Celebration of Life will be held April 29, 2022 from 6-8 PM at the Fairground Park administration building.
