Jean Manning Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jean Manning, 89 of Corder, Missouri died on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at her home. Born Thursday, May 10, 1928 in Aullville, Missouri, to the late William Bollmeyer and the late Eva Blanche Sanders Bollmeyer. She married Wilburn "Webb" Manning on February 9, 1946 and moved to Corder in 1957. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one sister, Irene Pennington. She was a member of Corder Baptist Church and Ladies Auxiliary of the Corder VFW Post #4288. She worked as a department supervisor at Lake City Arsenal, retiring in 1985. Surviving are three sons, Donald (Faye) Manning, Toney Manning and Roy Manning all of Corder; two sisters, Eva Vassar of Liberty, MO, and Billie Ann Hestand of Lee's Summit, MO; seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at the Corder Baptist Church at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 20, 2018 with Ron Gross officiating and Shirley Corder, pianist. Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Corder. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 20, 2018.
