Jimmy Leroy Hass, age 87 of Lexington, Missouri died on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington. Born Tuesday, June 23, 1925 in Santa Rosa, California , he was the son of the late Jack Hass and the late Zona Shatteru Hass. Also preceded in death are two brothers, Bob Hass and Gene Hass. He married Barbara Estelle Lee on April 14, 1948. She preceded him in death December 20, 1999. Mr. Hass served in the Marine Corps and was a Veteran of World War II. He worked as a Journeyman Carpenter for George Drady Construction in Santa Rosa, California, retiring in 1984. He lived most of his life in California moving to Lexington in 1994. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Carpenters. Surviving are two sons, Jimmy Lee (Denise) Hass of Santa Rosa, California and Jeff Hass of Dover, Missouri; one daughter, Pamela E. (David) Taylor of Lexington; one brother, Don (Ann) Hass of Redding, California; one sister, Betty Lane of Santa Rosa, California; seven grand children, Michael Taylor, Scott Hass Heather Trujillo, Amber Hass, Amanda Hass, Ashley Hass, and Austin Hass; three great grand children and one great great grandson.
