John David Blair, age 70 of Camdenton, Missouri died on Friday, August 12, 2011, at Harry S. Truman V.A. Hospital in Columbia, Missouri after a short illness. Born Friday, March 21, 1941 in Pontiac, Illinois, he was the son of L.C. Blair & Connie Parsons Blair. John worked as a union electrician to build nuclear plants in Illinois for approximately 20 years. . He served as a EM 3 in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service from 1959-1962. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW Post #886, WWII U.S. Submarine Veterans, Inc., past exalted ruler of the Elks Lodge in Pontiac, & retired from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. John lived in Camdenton since 1993 & was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death are his parents, three brothers, Beauford, Robert & Lermond Blair; one sister, Bernice Adylett.
