Keith H. Struchtemeyer Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Keith H. Struchtemeyer, 64, of Higginsville, Missouri died on Monday, December 14, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Born Wednesday, May 3, 1951, he was the son of Earl Daniel Struchtemeyer and the late Grace Johanna Tempel Struchtemeyer. Keith was a lifelong resident of the Higginsville/Mayview area. He graduated from Higginsville High School in 1969 then served 8 years in the Missouri National Guard. He and Judy Ann Fauss were married on September 16, 1972. Keith was co-owner and operator of American Chemical for many years and was the owner of Struchtemeyer Lawn Maintenance. He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ and served on the Church Council, the Board of Elders and participated with the Youth on Mission. Surviving are his wife, Judy Struchtemeyer of the home; his father, Earl Struchtemeyer of Higginsville; one son, Brandon (Abbie) Struchtemeyer of Higginsville, MO; two daughters, Penny (Cole) Harris of Higginsville, MO and Amy (Chris) Catron of Higginsville, MO; one brother, Olin (Carla) Struchtemeyer of Higginsville, MO; two sisters, Esther (Ken) Long of Lawrence, KS and Kathy (Gary) Hoeppner of Lexington, MO; six grandchildren, Seth Harris, Brooke Harris, Ty Harris, Brittnee Catron, Nicholas Catron and Waylon Struchtemeyer. He is preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Struchtemeyer. A Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Salem United Church of Christ located at 1500 N. Main St. Higginsville, Missouri 64037 with the Rev. Dr. Tommy L. Faris officiating. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Pallbearers are Wayne Bergsieker, Tiger Fiene, Tommy Wegener, Pete Frerking, Steve Lile, Jon Edwards, Elden Knipmeyer and Lester Homfeld. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Loges and Jack Wood. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 18, 2015, at Salem United Church of Christ.
