Linda Anne Goring Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Linda Anne (Solomon) Goring, age 58, of Higginsville, MO, died Monday, December 14, 2009, at Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington, MO. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Higginsville. She was a 1969 graduate of Richmond High School, then an art major at William Jewell College. She was a homemaker and was a resident of Higginsville for the past 37 years. She married Paul Goring June 3, 1972. She was born August 15, 1951 in Marshall, Missouri., the daughter of the late Glen Solomon, and Joyce (Briggs) Solomon. She is survived by her husband Paul Goring of the home; her mother, Joyce A. Solomon of Richmond, Missouri; one Son, Derek Goring and wife Jill of Shawnee, Kansas; two Sisters, Susan Bartlett of Higginsville and Patty Solomon of Richmond; one Brother, Glen Solomon and wife Carol of Hamilton, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Hoefer Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at First Baptist Church in Higginsville at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 17, 2009 , Dr. Greg Fine officiating. Thelma Dye will be the organist and Dennis Million, vocalist. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs, MO. Linda's nephews will serve as pallbearers.
