Martha Lue Gregg Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Martha Lue Gregg, age 75, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2010 at the Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Missouri. Born February 4, 1935 in White Rock, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Otto Henderson and Anna Rebecca Gibson Henderson. She and William D. "Pete" Gregg were married July 7, 1956. Mrs. Gregg was a homemaker and lived a number of years in Higginsville before moving to Carrollton in 1979. Mrs. Gregg was a member of the United Methodist Church in Carrollton, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Doris Busby and Mary Callihan. Survivors include her husband, William D. "Pete" Gregg of the home; three daughters; Gail Tieman and husband Rahn of Lee's Summit, Missouri; Sheryl Stoll and husband Kevin of Alma, Missouri; Deanna Gash and husband Jeff of Higginsville, Missouri; seven grandchildren; Jarrod Opfer, Courtney Bergsieker and husband Tim; Lindsay Taylor and husband Phil; Amanda Gash, Rebecca Tieman, Noah Stoll and Justin Gash; and one great granddaughter, Blair Bergsieker. She is also survived by three brothers, James Henderson of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; Robert Henderson and wife Darlene of Belton, Missouri; Tom Henderson and wife Mona of Edwards, Missouri; and one sister, Charlotte Sullivan and husband John of High Point, South Carolina. Memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday at Salem United Church of Christ located at 1500 Main St. Higginsville, Missouri 64037 with the Pastor Betty Thaller and Rev. Joyce Holley officiating. Doris Jane Stoner will provide the music at the service and Michael Decker will be soloist. Inurnment at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville. The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 25, 2010, at Hoefer Funeral Home, 1600 Main St., Higginsville, Missouri.
