Olin A. Jungeblut Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Olin A. Jungeblut, 85 of St. Peters, Missouri died on Sunday, August 21, 2016, at Spencer's Place in Saint Peters, Missouri. Born Thursday, August 28, 1930 in Higginsville, Missouri, he was the son of the late Samuel Jungeblut and the late Cora Schowengerdt Jungeblut. He enlisted with the Army during the Korean War in 1954 serving until 1956 where he was a Pfc(T). He was of the Methodist faith. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at the University of Missouri. Olin married Helen Sue Dutton on June 10, 1956. He spent most of his life in St. Louis, MO where he was a salesman and financial advisor for Ameriprise Financial. He retired in 1994 and they moved to the Lake of the Ozarks. Surviving are his wife Helen Sue Jungeblut; one son, Keith (Marie Antionette) Jungeblut of Sunrise Beach, MO; two daughters, Kora (David) Van Patten of Defiance, MO and Kimberly Sue (Bret) Nelson of St. Charles, MO; seven grandchildren, Jennifer & Jason Jungeblut, Derek, Kyle & Drew Nelson, Gregory Van Patten and Daniel Van Patten. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Edward, Louis & Leroy Jungeblut; and one sister Rosella Jungeblut. A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Missouri Veterans Chapel with the Rev. Terry Cook, officiating. Interment will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. The family suggest memorials to Parkinson's Disease.
