Renee Faught

November 25, 1957 - March 10, 2022

Ruby Renee Faught (Williams), 64 of Independence, Missouri (formerly of Higginsville) passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at the Baptist Home in Independence. She was born Monday, November 25, 1957 in Independence, to the late David Williams and the late Lila Mueller (Foster). Renee graduated from Clinton Senior High in Clinton, Missouri. She was married to Steve Faught for 13 years and from this union two sons were born. Renee worked for the Higginsville Habilitation Center for 10 years, caring for people with developmental disabilities. Renee loved music and played guitar. She enjoyed painting and drawing, and was very expressive with her art. Art was very important to her. She had a relationship with Jesus and would attend church when able. Renee was an animal lover and enjoyed pets. She could be a jokester and some would say with a wicked sense of humor. She was one of the the most nonjudgmental, tolerant people you would ever meet. She loved her family unconditionally and quickly forgave any mistake. Renee will be greatly missed by all her friends and family that loved her so much. Surviving are two sons, Nick (Angie) Faught of Independence, Ryan Faught of Higginsville; twin sister, Robin Miller of Higginsville; sister, Vicky Stevens of Independence; six grandchildren, Abbie Faught, Madison Faught, Mason Faught, Brayden Faught, Kale Faught, Wyatt Faught; three great-grandchildren; one step-mother, Martha Williams of Higginsville and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Stewart-Hoefer Funeral Home located at 1600 Main St. Higginsville, Missouri 64037. Interment will follow in Higginsville City Cemetery.
