Roberta F. Coleman Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Roberta F. Coleman, 87 of Higginsville, Missouri died on Monday, June 25, 2012, at Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington, Missouri. Born Thursday, April 30, 1925 in Creighton, Missouri, she was the daughter of Luther Ford and Mary Gregg Ford. She married Roland S. Coleman Jr. July 3, 1970 and he preceded her in death July 10, 1986. She was a former resident of Marshall MO moving to Higginsville in 1970. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She worked as a cook at the Lafayette Co. C-1 School District until she retired in 1995. She was also a member of the Higginsville Rebekah Lodge. Surviving are daughters, Pam Neubauer of Higginsville, MO and Delberta Hutchison of Booneville, MO, daughter-in-law Sue Evans of Marshall, MO, brother, Harold (Helen) Ford of Marshall, MO, sisters, Lola Mae Adcock of Marshall, MO and Margaret Sanders of Moberly, MO., 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son James V. Evans, 2 brothers and three sisters. A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday at First Baptist Church located at 1907 Peach St. Higginsville, Missouri 64037 with the Dr. Greg Fine officiating & Sharon Pragman, organist. Interment will be in City Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Hoefer Funeral Home, 1600 Main St., Higginsville, Missouri.
