Sandra Fay Corley, age 67 of Flemington, Missouri died on Friday, March 28, 2014, at her home. Born Friday, November 8, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Ervin Ash and the late Mary Lee (Kinder) Ash. She and Wendell A. Corley were united in marriage on February 10, 1962. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2006. Also preceding her in death are her parents, and one sister, Betty Miles. Mrs. Corley graduated from Independence School of Hair Styling. She worked as a barber with her husband where they owned and operated Mainstreet Barber Shop in Higginsville from 1991 until their retirement in 2005. She lived in Kansas City, Missouri, moving to Higginsville in 1991 and then moving to Flemington, Missouri in 2005. She and her husband were involved in Golden Gloves where she was a head judge. Surviving are two daughters, Tammy Jo Goff of Flemington, Missouri, Gail (Steve) Hiatt of Warrensburg, Missouri; one brother, Michael (Helen) Ash of De Soto, Kansas; 6 grandchildren, Vanessa Petersen, Mindy Zacker, Cassie Hufford, Wendi Hiatt, Broc Gibson, Patsy Morman and 7 great grandchildren. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence, Missouri. Interment will follow.
