Shirley Ann Murton-Zarillo Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Shirley Ann Murton-Zarillo, 76 of Sedalia, Missouri passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022, at Fairview Nursing Home in Sedalia. She was born Saturday, March 17, 1946, in Lawrence, Kansas, to the late Hugh Davis and the late Esther (Bryant) Mueller. Shirley attended Higginsville High School in Higginsville, MO. She worked in the retail service industry and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Shirley was an artist who loved sewing, painting, and cooking. She was very creative and enjoyed designing new Barbie clothes for her children. Shirley will be greatly missed by all her friends and family that loved her so much. Surviving are three sons, Johnny Murton of Texas, Michael Zarillo of Colorado Springs, CO and Anthony Zarillo of Higginsville; three daughters, Lisa Whittington of Sedalia, Alexandria Zarillo of Liberty, MO and Victoria Zarillo of Warrensburg, MO; two brothers, Eddie Davis of Waco, TX and Walter Davis of Higginsville; two sisters, Patricia Holtcamp of Higginsville and Fran Schwarzer of Higginsville. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jeffery Murton; one daughter, Lori Gonzalez. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 2:00pm-3:30pm at Stewart-Hoefer Funeral Home located at 1600 Main St. in Higginsville. Interment will follow in Higginsville City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made out to Lisa Whittington to be given to the Shirley Murton-Zarillo Memorial Fund.
