William Madison Cosper III Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Retired Air Force Master Sergeant, Bill Cosper passed peacefully in his sleep earlier this month at his home in Lexington, Missouri at the age of 74. Born in Gainesville, Florida, Bill was a loving son to his parents, Bill Jr. and Virginia Cosper. He joined the Air Force after high school in 1965, and served for 23 years through the Vietnam and Cold War eras, working in various technical roles as well as spending many years as a top recruiter. He earned his bachelor’s degree in social psychology from Park College, graduating magna cum laude in 1988. After serving his country, Bill spent the next 17 years serving his community. He first worked as a habilitation specialist in the vocational center at the Higginsville Habilitation Center, part of the Missouri Department of Mental Health. Later he worked with students with special needs in the Carrollton R-VII School District as a classroom facilitator and an at-risk aid, retiring in 2006. Bill is survived by his son, Bill Cosper and wife Suzanne; his daughter, Tabitha Bookout-Aldous and husband John Aldous; his sister, Janice Falco; niece, Jordan Falco; three nephews, Justin Falco, Robert Cosper, and Ryan Cosper; seven grandchildren, Alexander Bookout, Morgan Bookout, Nicholas Cosper, Reagan Cosper, Abigayle Aldous, Preston Aldous, and Lauren Manganiello; and two great-grandsons, Dayton Aldous-Hosmer and Benjamin Gouge. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Andi Cosper; his brother, Bruce Cosper; and brother-in-law, John Falco.
