Wilma Dieckhoff, 89 of Higginsville, Missouri died on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Meyer Care Center. Born Thursday, March 14, 1929 in Nevada, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late William McDonald and the late Olive Laura Randall. She was the wife of Alfred H. Dieckhoff, marrying January 1, 1993. She was a member of United Church of Christ, Higginsville American Legion Auxiliary, Disabled American Veterans. She was a resident of Lexington, Missouri moving to Higginsville in 1993. She worked as an office assistant to the funding director at Wentworth Military Academy, retiring in 1999. Surviving are husband, Alfred H. Dieckhoff of the home; one step-son, Ellis (Teresa) Dieckhoff of Higginsville; three daughters, Jean Ann Fisher of Lexington, Valerie (Dwayne) Kile of Tampa, FL and Anita Pippin of Tampa; one sister, Kay Skinner of Lexington; six grandchildren, Rachel, Jason, Kristin, Cameron, Stephanie, Brandon; eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Wendell McDonald; three sisters, Twyla Clemmons, Betty Gross and Francis Mahoney; one granddaughter, Jennifer Dickey. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Salem United Church of Christ in Higginsville. Interment will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Salem United Church of Christ. Memorial contributions may be sent to Salem United Church of Christ, Higginsville American Legion or Auxiliary.
